Jo McDonald is an accomplished jeweller, enameller and silversmith who likes to take traditional techniques and give them a contemporary twist. Influences for her exotic jewellery design stem from Jo's passion for fine art, textiles, nature, travel and vintage jewellery.
As well as creating beautiful bespoke rings,earrings and pendants in 18ct gold, silver and precious stones, Jo uses raising techniques by making her own wooden forms to create unique silver bangles, described as 'brilliant' and 'strangely beautiful' in The Independent, 'The 50 Best Jewellery', February 23rd 2008.
Jo also works closely with clients and has a large portfolio of commissions, from wedding and engagement rings to remodelling old jewellery. Jo's fine craftmanship, attention to detail and design comes from the heart.
