Jo McDonald is an accomplished jeweller, designer and silversmith who is known for her use of traditional jewellery techniques and craftsmanship skillfully combined with interesting contemporary designs.

Jo is known for her ability to interpret design briefs and solutions and she has created pieces for famous figures in Madame Tussaud attractions in London, LA, New York and Bangkok as well as significant historical jewellery for the newly opened exhibition in Vienna.

Jo works closely with clients and has a large portfolio of commissions, from wedding and engagement rings to remodelling old jewellery. Influences for her jewellery design stem from a passion for fine art, textiles, nature, travel and vintage jewellery.

As well as creating beautiful bespoke rings,earrings and pendants in 18ct gold, silver and precious stones, Jo uses raising techniques by making her own wooden forms to create unique silver bangles, described as 'brilliant' and 'strangely beautiful' in The Independent, 'The 50 Best Jewellery', February 23rd 2008.
